Lost Angels [TNT]

TNT entwickelt eine Serie, die auf dem Buch "L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City" basiert, und Frank Darabont soll das Drehbuch zum Piloten schreiben und auch gleich die Regie übernehmen.
Executive Producer neben Darabont sind Michael De Luca (THE SOCIAL NETWORK, MONEYBALL) und Elliot Webb ("Tall Time Tales")

Die Synopsis:

L.A. Noir is the true story of a decades-long conflict between the Los Angeles Police Department, under the determined leadership of Police Chief William Parker, and ruthless criminal elements led by Mickey Cohen, a one-time boxer who rose to the top of L.A.’s criminal world. The series is a fast-paced crime drama set in Los Angeles during the 1940s and '50s. It's a world of glamorous movie stars, powerful studio heads, returning war heroes, a powerful and corrupt police force and an even more dangerous criminal network determined to make L.A. its West Coast base.

Das sagt Michael Wright (executive vice president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies) dazu:

“The story of L.A. Noir is inspired by an incredibly dramatic period in the history of Los Angeles. This project is a sweeping tale of the battle for the soul of the city that was waged between the forces of the LAPD and the West Coast mob. We’re thrilled to be working with Frank Darabont and Michael De Luca, two award-winning storytellers behind some of the most entertaining films of the past two decades, as they to bring this intense and exciting crime-drama to TNT.”

Im gepostetem Link steht, dass es nichts mit dem Spiel zu tun hat

Im Spiel gehts es doch eher um einen Detective im L.A. der 40er Jahre als um Mickey Cohen und so, oder?

Mit Castingverhandlungen für seinen neuen Serienpiloten L.A. Noir könnte Produzent Frank Darabont einen Spoiler für seine alte Serie The Walking Dead fabriziert haben: Darabont interessiert sich für jemanden, dessen Charakter in der AMC-Serie noch lebt.

Milo Ventimiglia wagt sich auf die Bretter des Kabelfernsehens: Der einstige Heroes-Star hat für eine Hauptrolle im TNT-Serienpiloten L.A. Noir unterzeichnet. Sein Alter Ego ist ein Ex-Marine, der jetzt als Anwalt arbeit, aber wie ein Krimineller aussieht.

Aber bei Gilmore Girls mochte ihn der liebe Stampede sicher.

Passt schon, allerdings frage ich mich wie ein Krimineller "aussieht", so voll Ganxta-mäßig mit Baggypants, Ketten, Kappe und Hoodie?

Werde der Serie eine Chance geben, könnte was sein.

Jeremy Strong gerät auf die schiefe Bahn: Der Schauspieler erweitert den Cast des TNT-Serienpiloten L.A. Noir in einer weiteren Hauptrolle neben Jon Bernthal und Milo Ventimiglia. Darin spielt er einen gefährlichen Gangster.

Neal McDonough legt sich mit der Mafia an: Der Darsteller hat sich eine tragende Hauptrolle in dem TNT-Serienpiloten L.A. Noir gesichert. In dem Projekt schlüpft er in die Rolle des entschlossenen Polizeichefs der LAPD.
