HBO has confirmed the debut date for Animals, with the animated adult comedy series set to launch its 10-episode season on Friday, February 5 at 11:30 PM ET, exclusively on HBO.
Created by Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano, and produced by Duplass Brothers Television, Animals focuses on the creatures native to Earth’s least-habitable environment: New York City. Lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons, and aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis engage in awkward small talk, moral ambiguity, and existential woes startlingly similar to that of the humans with whom they co-exist.
