Statham isn’t just being eyed for the role, he’s “deep in negotiations” for it. With production scheduled for the end of July, expect a casting announcement before then, one way or another. Comic-Con sure seems like a good place to break this exciting bit of news.

The Punisher is coming to the Marvel universe. It was announced today that the character will make his MCU debut in season two of Marvel’s Daredevil, and he’ll be played by none other than The Walking Dead actor Jon Bernthal.

Finde ich ne (sehr) gute Wahl für die Rolle, Bernthal ist bei weitem nicht so schlecht wie er manchmal gemacht wird mMn
Wenn er den Punisher auch in der angeblichen Netflix-Serie spielt, dann will ich sie doch nicht mehr :p
