Ich habe gestern die Folge gesehen, in der Stephanie gestorben ist. Ich fand das wirklich schlimm. Die ganze Situation war unheimlich dramatisch dargestellt, viel dramatischer als der Tod von Jill, die zwar unerwartet, jedoch ganz plötzlich gestorben war.
Zudem fand ich Stephanie einfach gut. Sie war authentisch, machte einen sehr netten Eindruck und passte gut in das Baywatchteam.
Das sie ausgerechnet direkt nach ihrer Hochzeit starb, macht die Sache noch einen Tick trauriger.

This is Mitch’s speech at Stephanie’s funeral:
Lieutenant Stephanie Holden
She loved the ocean
And she loved being a lifeguard
She was the ultimate lifeguard
But more importantly
She loved life
She gave her life
So another could live
And if she had the chance to do it all over again
I’m sure she would make the same choice
Which makes it even more difficult to say goodbye
But we are not here to say goodbye
We are here to honor her
And to say to you Stephanie
That you will be missed
As a lifeguard
As a wife
As a sister
And as a friend
We will never forget you
And I, Stephanie
I will think about you
every day for the rest of my life
