Lauren Ambrose, who starred in HBO’s mortuary drama „Six Feet Under,“ is celebrating a new life.

The Emmy-nominated actress and her husband Sam Handel welcomed their first child on Tuesday, Jan. 16 in New York City, reports People.

The baby, a boy, has been named Orson Handel.

Ambrose, 28, married Handel, a photographer and entrepreneur whom she met at a party in Los Angeles, in 2001.
