Mischa Barton’s Stalker Scare

Sources have said that Mischa Barton was so alarmed that she screamed when a wacko who had hounded her in California showed up in her dressing room, begging her to be his bride.Her stalker had previously sent love letters and had even tried to infiltrate The O.C. set before he was nabbed by security, who posted his picture around the studio’s lot

While in Florence filming her new movie, The Decameron, Barton walked into her dressing room and freaked out when she saw her stalker, who immediately begged for her not to turn him in.“I spent all my money to come here and propose to you,” he was reported as saying. “I love you!”

Barton’s response was to scream. Security immediately grabbed the guy, who had dressed as a crew member to gain access to the room.
Although he couldn’t be arrested since he didn’t actually harm the star, her security has since doubled.
