Comedy king Chuck Lorre is expanding his relationship with CBS with a new half-hour project, which is instantly becoming a top prospect for the network’s fall 2013 schedule. The network has given a pilot production order to Mom, a multi-camera comedy from Lorre, who is behind half of CBS’ comedy series: Two And A Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly.
Mom centers on a newly sober single mom who tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley.
Youngster Blake Garrett Rosenthal has been cast opposite Anna Faris and Allison Janney in Chuck Lorre’s CBS comedy pilot Mom.
Matt Jones (Breaking Bad) and Spencer Daniels (Star Trek) have been added to the cast of Chuck Lorre’s CBS comedy pilot Mom.
