ABC is getting on the biblical bandwagon with Of Kings And Prophets, a drama written by Adam Cooper & Bill Collage […]. The project, from ABC Studios, is an epic biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny.
Maisie Richardson-Sellers (The Originals), who has a role in the upcoming Star Wars movie, will play a lead in Of Kings And Prophets,
Mohammad Bakri (Tyrant) has booked one of the male leads opposite Ray Winstone in ABC’s drama pilot Of Kings And Prophets.
James Floyd (My Brother The Devil) has landed a series regular role opposite Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Ray Winstone on ABC’s drama pilot Of Kings And Prophets.

Ja, wollte ich auch gerade sagen. Bibelverfilmungen an sich sind im Prinzip immer erstmal interessant, aber die funktionieren in der Regel auch nur ordentlich und „bombastisch“ produziert. Ob das bei ABC wirklich hinhauen kann, wage ich zu bezweifeln. Mal schauen.
