Friends And Family, from David Rosen, creator/executive producer of the MTV cult comedy I Just Want My Pants Back, is an adaptation of the 2007 British romantic comedy series Gavin & Stacey. The original series, created by James Corden and Ruth Jones, chronicled the long-distance relationship between a man from England (Matthew Horne) and a woman from Wales (Joanna Page) who start off talking on the phone. They eventually decide to meet, and hit it off — but must navigate their eccentric families and friends. The Fox version, produced by Sony TV and BBC Worldwide Prods., focuses on the key life moments of the title characters who try to maintain their relationship while combining their polarizing families’ lives.

Keine Ahnung wie das auf längere Sicht funktionieren soll. Zu viele „laute“ Charaktere. Aber sonst muss ich es gucken und Alexis, Jason und Jane gehen klar. Eine Staffel guck ich ohnehin. Eigener Bereich her. :p
Hm, zwar guck ich das nur wegen dem Cast an, aber dennoch schade. Solche Produktionspausen verheißen nix gutes, wird sicher so ein „The Goodwin Games“ Ding werden.

Naja, die Serie hatte für mich ohnehin kein Langspielpotenzial, noch hätte mich der Inhalt abseits vom Cast interessiert.
Nun wird es gar nicht mehr gezeigt, allerdings hatte ich auch nicht mehr damit gerechnet. Schade ist es, nicht mal Summer Burn Off würdig…
