Eine sehr starke Episode von Scrubs.

Cox litt immer noch darunter, dass die drei Patienten, die tollwutinfizierte Organe bekamen, starben. Er erschien sogar betrunken zur Arbeit und da wurde Zeit, dass jemand mal was dagegen tat. So verdonnerte Carla die Leute dazu Dr. Cox abwechselnd zu besuchen und mit ihm zu reden. Genial war die Szene, in der Jack „Daddy drinks a lot“ sagte. Boah, da musste ich kräftig lachen. Elliots Flashback fand ich sehr amüsant. Die Rede von Kelso hatte es in sich gehabt. Natürlich war J.D.s Rede die beste von allen. Der Moment zwischen Cox und J.D. gefiel mir sehr gut. Es war einfach nur genial und eine schöne Inszenierung war es auch noch.

In der letzte Szene sprach Cox J.D. mit seinem Namen an. Ich dachte, ich höre nicht richtig. War es das erste Mal, dass Cox „J.D.“ sagte?

Die Story mit Turk und Dr. Stone war ganz unterhaltsam und an einigen Stellen war es sehr witzig, besonders J.D. und seine Gerede über die Sensibelchen-Fraktion. Witzig unter anderem war auch der Donkeyboy. Sehr amüsant waren auch (wie so oft) J.D.s Tagträume mit dem Werbspot und der Pilgerbeerdigung.

But because after twenty years of being a doctor… when things go badly you still take it this hard. And I’ve gotta tell you man, I mean… that’s the kind of doctor I want to be.

J.D.’s Narration: The truth is, thanks to modern medicine, 80 isn’t that big of a deal anymore. It’s not like the olden days.
Fantasy J.D.: Let us not feel sorrow for Bobby Adams. He was 12. He lead a full life. He will be missed, especially by his beautiful wife, Jenny, who stood by him even when he turned six, had a midlife crisis and was caught banging one of those people naked people that brought us corn.
J.D.: I’d be the oldest man in Pilgrim Village.
